I know Melissa is very educated on pets and their behaviors. She did a lot of research before purchasing her own pets
and has trained them on her own. After knowing her for many years she has always been a very responsible pet
owner and her pets are well taken care of. I myself am a dog lover and would definitely trust in Melissa to watch my
own pet who happens to [be] very spoiled. :) She is a great person who loves pets and I cannot think of a better
occupation for her.

Since I live down the street from Melissa I know that her dogs are exercised regularly and she takes great care of her
own as she would anyone else's. My dog actually stops at her house every time we are walking and goes up to her
front door and stands there. Melissa has been known to slide a few treats here and there to her and she has not
forgotten that.

I thought I knew a lot about dogs but I know I have learned a lot from her and her family.
Our business depends on customers who's needs are satisfied with our services. We are committed
to meeting your pet care needs as well.  Take a look at what our customers have said:
Melissa is wonderful with animals.  She has watched my two dogs.  Not only do I not worry, but I know they are getting
extra care. Her husband and her are full of  knowledge about animals.  I have asked for training advice on several
occasions.  When I leave her with the dogs I have complete trust.
Pals 2 Paws is truly a unique business. Melissa and Randy are dedicated to the well-being of pets. And understand
the anxiety that pets experience while "their" people are away. Melissa treats each pet as though it were her own --
she respects and loves them, always making sure that they are comfortably cared for. What peace of mind this gives
those who are "owned" by pets!

Now they have added another aspect to the business -- underground fencing. Randy installed one for us and we love
it! The rainy weather certainly didn't cooperate with the process, but he persisted and got the job done. We have 3
dogs--ages 8 yrs, 5 yrs, and 8 weeks. The oldest one has been very prone to escaping the backyard fence and
running away. Randy recommended the "stubborn dog" version of the fence, added an extra lightning protector since
we live in a rural area, and gave us a clear explanation on operating the system. He also has been promptly available
for any assistance with training the dogs to become aware of the boundary. The "problem" pet was trained to remain
in the yard--and it only took ONE WEEK! She loves being able to run freely--no leash & no fussing from "mom".

We were most impressed that the DeSpains made a consulting trip to our home, met the older dogs, looked at the
acreage, and were very helpful in making recommendations. They were most considerate of our wishes and were
super people to work with. Their expertise in the area certainly made this a most positive experience for us and the
dogs!
It was good to know that Candy was in good hands and gave you now problems. Thanks for taking our laptop to the
accountant! It was a huge relief to us to know that it was taken care of and we know that it was something you didn't
have to do.
When our Vizsla, Chloe was 4 1/2 mo.old, we began Obedience Training with Randy. During the 6 week course, we
learned how to train her to sit, come, stay for a short period, and "people" manners.  Randy was an excellent trainer.
Wes had a stroke 3 yrs ago and his speech is very limited. Randy worked with him on words and sounds that Wes
could make so he could interact with the puppy. We both felt that this was an exceptional service and truly appreciated
it.  We are continuing the training at home and plan to take the next "stage" of classes in the spring.

Melissa and her family are my puppy's second home.  I have
taken my yorkie, Joey, there to stay several times in the last
year and it has been terrific!  She has been flexible in
arranging drop off and pick up times. Joey is welcomed with
open arms and it is evident that Melissa loves caring for him.
I can recommend the Pals 2 Paws services without any
reservations and appreciate the professionalism and
personal attention it provides.
I KNOW OUR DOG IS ALWAYS IN GOOD HANDS WHEN
MELISSA AND RANDY TAKE CARE OF HER.  THEY TREAT
HER LIKE SHE IS PART OF THEIR FAMILY.

Pet Sitting,
"Words cannot express how we feel for what you have done for our whole family.  When one embarks (no pun intended) on
a quest such as teaching a dog how to behave you always hope for rapid results.  Well I could never have dream how,
overnight, our dogs and my daughter and son-in-law's dog learned how to behave and become closer members of our
family.  The trick is simple; Randy taught us how to behave and how to read our dogs by observing their jesters and body
language.  They say 'you can't teach old dog new tricks', but I'm here to tell you that is not true.  We have a six year old
Rottweiler, and a five year old German shepherd, and they are like different dogs, they are welcome members of the
family and can now be around when we have guests in our home.

Thank you so much for enriching our lives with what you've done for our family.
We have new good friends in you. "

Joe, thank you for serving us
and your country in Iraq.
We are greatful to you!!!
"We accomplished many things during Randy's trip to help us train our 5 year old basset hound, Layla.  She was simply
unmanageable when people came to the door, or rather, unbalanced - jumping up and excitedly whining and simply
crazy!  With Randy's training (both of the dog and of us!) we are now able to invite others into our home without first having
to cage up the dog and listen to her incessant barking.  We can now open the door without her jetting outside and running
off.  I am also able to take walks with both my daughter in her stroller and Layla trotting happily aside us instead of pulling
me every which way.  Those were just the big things!  Randy was also able to guide us through other various questions we
had about several other "little" things about Layla that had us stumped!  We definitely plan to utilize Randy's and Melissa's
other pet services as we need them in the future.  Thanks!!

The Problem: A Basset Hound (Layla) and Shepherd (Ruby) could not be in the same room together
without a dog fight erupting -- causing this family great difficulty visiting one another with the dogs
present.

The Result: Layla, Ruby, and Ivy (Rottweiler) all coexist and walk together
in peace and the family can get together without worry of their dogs behavior.
